- Emerging Trends and Challenges: Discusses the impact of globalization, home working, lone working, technology, and other factors on the labour landscape and the challenges they pose for employers and employees.
- Introduction to Human Rights: Definition and core principles of human rights (universality, indivisibility, equality, etc.). Historical overview of the human rights movement. International and regional legal frameworks (UDHR, ICCPR, etc.). Different categories of human rights (civil and political, economic, social and cultural, etc.).
- Specific Human Rights: Rights to life, liberty, and security of person. Freedom from slavery and torture. Freedom of expression, religion, and association. Rights to work, education, and health. Rights of vulnerable groups (women, children, minorities, persons with disabilities).
